South London's SWW fuses slow-grooving R&B with syncopated beats, quavering melodies and feel-good harmonies to create an infectious slice of warped pop. Influenced by the likes of Jamie Lidell, Erykah Badu, Prince & PJ Harvey, Sarah Williams White is a songwriter & producer who produces a mix of urban, pop and soul that oozes a laidback contemporary feel.
SWW now returns with her second release of 2012 as she drops her ‘Your Silence Is Killing Me’ EP on September 24th http://youtu.be/nlUB9OJGhW4. The title and lead track will be available via Monosole Music as part of a run of limited edition 7’’ singles accompanied by a remix of the track by Sarah’s hip hop producer brother, Paul White, exclusively available at monosolemusic.bandcamp.com The second track from the EP ‘Always’ will be available as an MPFree from www.iamSWW.com
Sarah has also recently collaborated with Dan Le Sac on his track ’Play Along’ http://youtu.be/PzPBD69UI3g the first single taken from his recently released solo album ’Space Between The Words’.
As well as the release of her new EP, SWW and band have been invited to play the BBC Introducing stages at the Reading and Leeds festivals, August 25th and 26th http://www.bbc.co.uk/music/events/efmhzc/acts/abxnc8. Sarah finishes the summer playing on stage with Dan le Sac at Bestival on September 9th and then accompanying him on his UK tour in October.
